The first members of Athy Golf Club were enrolled at a meeting held in the Town Hall Athy on this date, February 6th, 1906. The first Captain elected was Patrick Lynch and Sir Anthony Weldon was elected President. Matthew J Minch was elected Vice President. H.F. Lesmond was elected Treasurer. It appears that there were two Honorary Secretaries, J.T. White and John Corcoran. TM
